Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been unlucky with injuries since he arrived at the North London club as he has seen a great number of players get sidelined in his first few months at the club and then end up missing the start of the 2020/21 campaign. The gunners have a lot of players on the sidelines but one of their star players might have given them a boost with his return.

Among those that were on the Arsenal treatment table was Gabriel Martinelli who got injured in training last season hence his first campaign in England ending with him having 10 goals and two assists in all competitions. The young Brazilian international was ruled out for months and earlier predictions by the club had said that he would only be back at the start of 2021.

Arsenal has however received a big injury boost after Gabriel Martinelli has now fully started training with his teammates ahead of a return to the squad as seen in the recently uploaded training video. Martinelli is seen taking part in the session and it’s now only a matter of time before we see him in the matchday squad of the upcoming games.

Arsenal supporters as seen in the comments of the video are happy with the return of Gabriel Martinelli because he was so impressive for them in all competitions last season with some great performances such as the 2-2 draw with Chelsea in which the 19 year old scored a sensational goal despite playing with 10 men for most of the game. It will be interesting to see how Mikel Arteta would include Martinelli in his starting eleven since the youngster can play at both the wing and as a centre forward.
