This statistic revealed shows how unlucky Arsenal have been this season
Arsenal have a bad season but what is frustrating is the narrow margins of defeat in the score line.

Arsenal have had a lackluster season especially in the League, were they sit eleventh on the table at this moment.
The Gunners have already lost 11 Premier League games this season with 13 games still left to play. If you look at the 11 defeats, 8 of them were by 1 goal margins.
73% of Arsenal’s defeats have been by a narrow margin of just a goal. The 3 convincing defeats were Liverpool 3-1, Spurs 2-0, and Aston Villa 0-3.

While Arsenal deserved to lose a good number of those games, the narrow margins are frustrating and show how unlucky they’ve been this season.
Arsenal have lost six times by a score line of 1-0, seven if you add the FA cup defeat to Southampton. Which shows the lack of goal scoring prowess in the team.
Only twice have the Gunners managed to avoid defeat after conceding first, drawing 1-1 and winning 3-1 against Southampton. This shows a weak mentality from the players and a lack of fighting spirit to comeback from the losing position.
Losing narrowly is not entirely an attacking problem regarding lack of goals scored but also to do with the defensive stability. Arsenal have been 1-0 down in less than 5 minutes on three occasions this season.
Arsenal haven’t been bad defensively, only two other teams have conceded less goals than Arsenal in the League, but momentary lapses in concentration have been their undoing.

Not to forget the silly and avoidable red cards. The five red cards in the League this season have also been a factor in the defeats.
It really has been a frustrating Premier League season for the Arsenal and its fans.
