Report: What Arsenal must do to sign Martin Odegaard permanently

Martin Odegaard has settled well and adapted to the Premier League and life in North London. In his loan spell from Real Madrid he has scored two goals in twelve appearances and cemented himself in the attacking midfield position.
Arsenal yesterday came from 3 goals down to draw 3-3 at West Ham and Odegaard had an excellent performance.
He displayed instincts of a true playmaker, a person Arsenal have lacked since the good days of Mesut Ozil. And now Arsenal fans are desperate to see the Norwegian star stay in North London on a long term contract.
“He had an incredible performance,” Mikel Arteta said after the West Ham game. “I think he was very intelligent, the way he read the game. He showed how much he wants to win. When everybody was trembling, he gave us that stability and composure on the ball.
“I love talented and creative players who are willing to make things happen. It’s true that Martin is giving us a different level in certain things we didn’t have.”

Odegaard has showcased his creativity skills in the final third and ability to shoot from outside the box, fans are comparing some of his traits to Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla.
What do Arsenal need to do to make Odegaard stay at Arsenal permanently?
The good news is it appears Odegaard want to stay at Arsenal. Spanish outlet El Gol Digital report that Odegaard has already told his representatives to begin talks over a permanent switch to North London.

Odegaard wants to be a regular starter and have a feel of playing in his favourite position with teammates and a coach that loves and has confidence in him. This is something he has been deprived off at his parent club Real Madrid, reason why he forced a move away.
The hurdle now is tempting Real Madrid to sell the 22-year-old. Given his current form, his price tag has definitely gone up.
So Arsenal would have to present a tempting offer to convince Real Madrid to let go of this talented youngster. Odegaard is valued at €40m by Transfermarkt but he could be valued up to double that figure by Real Madrid.
