Arsenal receive a big boost in trying to permanently sign Martin Odegaard
Arsenal have received a big boost in their pursuit to permanently sign Martin Odegaard in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal signed Martin Odegaard on a short term loan deal in the January transfer window and the gunners have been surprised about how good he has been for them as he has fully settled to Premier League football in a small time. The Arsenal fans have begun calling for the club to permanently sign Odegaard and it looks like the club might have received a boost in this endeavor.
Martin Odegaard arrival at Arsenal helped the gunners to revive their form as it led to Mikel Arteta changing back to a 4-2-3-1 formation that used a central attacking midfielder. Odegaard has been able to fill the void that was left in the Arsenal squad after the club started keeping Mesut Ozil out of the matchday squads and the creative output of the Norwegian international has been good in just the two months that he has been in North London.
Arsenal have received a boost in their pursuit to permanently sign Martin Odegaard as a report by The Times claims that Real Madrid will listen to offers for the 22 year old in this upcoming summer transfer window as they will be looking to raise funds to get their targets as well. This is a big boost for Arsenal as its always been unclear if Arsenal would get a chance of even bidding since Odegaard has been hugely considered to be part of Real Madrid’s future so them listening for offers is something that the hierarchy of the North Londoners will appreciate.
Martin Odegaard has so far scored two goals for Arsenal in all competitions this season and despite not scoring in the 3-3 draw with West Ham United, he was voted as the man of the match of that game as he was very impressive in that game. Odegaard hasn’t talked much about his future but he has many times praised Mikel Arteta’s management.
