The UEFA Europa League will soon come to an end and Arsenal will face Villarreal in the semi finals with the hope of defeating them to go all the way to win the competition. The match is just two days away and it’s now being reported that the gunners have received a boost ahead of this game.

Arsenal have suffered with injuries in the last few months and among those that have been on the sidelines is David Luiz who got a knee injury in March and then had to undergo a minor surgery which has since then kept him in the treatment room.

Arsenal will soon select their squad that will travel to Spain for the game against Villarreal and Standard is now reporting that the gunners have received good news ahead of that game after David Luiz has returned to training. This is big news for the North Londoners as David Luiz is not only a leader in the Arsenal squad and is also very essential to the way Arteta sets up as his long range over the top balls could be useful against the high line that Unai Emery usually uses.

The gunners will come into this game after heir defeat to Everton and so they will hope David Luiz will be able to be improve on their defence and their playing out of the back if selected to be in the squad that faces Villarreal. Arsenal youngsters have often talked about how he is a good leader for them in the dressing room and so since most of them will start the game on Thursday then he could rally the squad even from the bench.
