Billionaire Daniel Ek gives update on how far he is in buying Arsenal Football Club
Spotify founder and billionaire Daniel Ek has already revealed his intention to buy Arsenal and he has now provided an update to the fans on his goal.
There has been many reports about the possibility of Arsenal Football Club getting bought by Spotify founder and billionaire Daniel Ek who is a life long fan of the North London club and he has for the first time revealed further information on his intentions.
The Arsenal fans have for long not been happy with Stan Kroenke owning their club since they have shown that they are not willing to invest in the team as the other owners of the other top Premier League clubs. Their decision to join the European Super League although later withdrawn has made the relationship of Stan Kroenke with the supporters become more sour since it was obvious that they only accepted that idea since it was going to bring in money for them.
Billionaire Daniel Ek who tweeted his intentions to buy Arsenal after the protests by the fans has finally faced the media to explain how he wasn’t just doing a PR stunt as many thought and also gave an update on how far he is in his goal to buy the North London club from Stan Kroenke. Daniel Ek spoke of his great love for Arsenal Football Club and also then gave an update saying that he has secured the funds that he will bid to Stan Kroenke.
“I’ve been an Arsenal fan since I was 8 years old. Arsenal is my team. I love the history, the players & the fans. I see a tremendous opportunity to set a real vision for the club & bring it back to its glory.” Daniel Ek told CNBC.
“I am very serious. I have secured the funding & I want to bring a very compelling offer to the owners & I hope they hear me out.”
