Arsenal hierarchy’s thoughts on sacking Mikel Arteta as manager revealed as season nears end
Some Arsenal supporters have called on the club to sack Mikel Arteta but the club hierarchy’s thoughts on this matter have been revealed as we get close to the ending of the season.
The 2020/21 Premier League campaign will finish in a week from now and Arsenal have been very poor in this campaign as they are on course to finish in a position that will see them have no European football for the first time in decades. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has received a lot of criticism for the club’s poor campaign but some others have argued that this wasn’t a normal season hence it not being a perfect time to evaluate whether he Is a good manager.
The Arsenal hierarchy appointed Mikel Arteta as their new manager at the end of 2019 and he surprised many with how he led the gunners to a record 14th Emirates FA Cup and he was then given the objective of taking the gunners back into the UEFA Champions League this season but that is obviously impossible now after they got knocked out of the UEFA Europa League in the semi finals by Spanish side Villarreal.
The Arsenal supporters have been divided on the matter of sacking Mikel Arteta for weeks now but the stance of the club’s hierarchy has been revealed by The Guardian journalist Fabrizio Romano who has revealed on Twitter that the North London club is fully backing the Spanish manager despite the poor performances seen this season, and that they are now working on transfers together ahead of the new upcoming season.
Arsenal are still backing Mikel Arteta and he’ll stay. The club is planning with the Spanish manager about next transfers window and new signings. ⚪️🔴 #AFC

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has also been very confident about being the manager for next season in his press conferences and so the gooners will hope that they have a better season under him next season since it’s clear that the club’s hierarchy still has trust in him to take the club forward.
