Arsenal are already making preparations for a busy summer transfer window. The club must sell off some players that are surplus to requirement, makeweight and use the funds to buy new or better players.
The squad also needs to be trimmed since Arsenal are highly unlikely to play European football next season. Quality over quantity will have to be prioritized during the transfer window as the club rebuilds for the next season.
As per football.london here are the players that have been put up for sale;
Bernd Leno, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Many other players also face an uncertain future and could be sold to cut the wage bill or generate funds for transfers, these are;
Alex Runarsson, David Luiz, Joe Willock, Alexandre Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and Mohamed Elneny.
Arsenal’s budget for the transfer window remains unknown but it is likely to be a low budget that will depend on player sales and revenue earnings from competitions, unless the Kroenke’s finally decide to make some cash available for transfers as a result of pressure from the fanbase,
