Arsenal have been shown to be busy in this summer transfer window as seen by the number of players that they have been linked with but it’s however still a mystery as to who they will end up signing. A report has however revealed the positions that the gunners are prioritising in this summer transfer window.

Arsenal was awful last season as they finished below the Premier League top six hence failing to get European football for next season and the fans have since called on the club to be proactive in this summer transfer window to try to revive the club which seemed to be nose diving at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta promised to revamp his squad so that he can compete with the big boys of the Premier League and the Daily Mail  has confirmed that the gunners are looking to sign a defender (CB) , a central midfielder (CM) and an attacking midfielder (CAM/No.10) in this summer transfer window.

The report claims that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta wants a new central defender due to the departure of David Luiz who left the North London club after the gunners opted not to renew his current deal and that he wants the new signing to provide the needed competition for Gabriel and Rob Holding who played a lot of games together last season.

It’s also further claimed that the gunners will look to find a new central midfielder since they want to improve their midfield and because they are at a risk of losing Granit Xhaka to AS Roma. The gunners will also want a central attacking midfielder and have already missed out on Buendia but will try to get an alternative.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
