Two Arsenal stars reportedly on verge of departure as Arteta continues clear out
Arsenal is expected to make a huge clear out in this summer transfer window and its now revealed that two players could soon leave as Arteta continues his revamp of the team.
Arsenal was very poor in the 2020/21 season and Mikel Arteta has openly made statements how he will try to revamp his squad ahead of the new season by trimming the team in this summer transfer window. The gunners have already let go of some players and its now reported that two of their players are on the verge of their departure as Arteta continues to trim his squad.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said during last season that he believed that the squad was too big while having limited quality and its been widely reported that the gunners will try to sell as many players as they can to try to bring some new faces that can take the team to the next level ahead of the new season.
Arsenal young defender Dinos Mavropanos was loaned to Stuttgart in the 2020 summer transfer window and many believed that he would be welcomed back at the Emirates Stadium to try to get a chance to impress Mikel Arteta in the pre-season matches but Goal has however confirmed that the Turkish centre back will be going back there to permanently join the German based club.
Mavropanos joined Arsenal a few years ago but he was however immediately loaned and did not get adequate chances under Unai Emery and got zero minutes under Mikel Arteta as he was sent out on loan. Another Arsenal player that is on his way out is Sead Kolasinac who got loaned to Schalke 04 in the January transfer window. A report by Calciomercato claims that Sead Kolasinac has received offers from both Lazio and Napoli and that he wants to play in Italy.
