Arsenal starting eleven to face Brentford revealed as Arteta makes some surprises
The Premier League starts in a few minutes from now and Arsenal’s starting eleven to face Brentford has been revealed.

Arsenal will in a few minutes from now be hosted at the Brentford Community Stadium by Brentford for the Premier League season opening fixture and this will be an important game for the North Londoners as they won’t want to immediately start dropping points on the first day. The starting eleven have finally been released and here’s the starting eleven of the North Londoners that will face Brentford, and Arteta has some interesting surprises.
ARSENAL STARTING ELEVEN TO FACE BRENTFORD
Leno; Chambers, White, Mari, Tierney; Lokonga, Xhaka; Pepe, Smith Rowe, Martinelli, Balogun
SUBSTITUTES:
Hein, Bellerín, Cedric, Holding, Tavares, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Nelson, Saka
FORMATION: 4-2-3-1
Arsenal will of course not have Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the squad because they two are unwell hence being excused from tonight’s game. The Arsenal fans will be anxious throughout this game because those two strikers have been scoring most of their goals in the last three seasons.
This is an interesting lineup as it gives Mikel Arteta ideas of how he could always set up his team without his top two striking stars and so he will be hopeful that they be able to get the win as it would send a message to all the Premier League clubs that they are still a strong even without Lacazette and Aubameyang.
