Arteta’s Arsenal receive bad news ahead of their game against Brentford
Arsenal will face Brentford in a few hours from now and its claimed that they have received bad news ahead of this game.

The Premier League will return tonight after many months of break from club football and Arsenal will be the club to kickoff in their game against Brentford at the Brentford Community Stadium. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will want the gunners to start the season with a win but the gunners have however received bad news ahead of the game.
Arsenal will come into this match after having been poor in the pre-season games and they want to put that behind them by getting a win in their first competitive game of the 2021/22 campaign but The Athletic has confirmed that the gunners have received bad news ahead of that game against Brentford as its claimed that both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will not take part in the season opener because they are unwell.

This is a very big blow for Arsenal as these two are their only senior strikers at the club at the moment and they will now not take part in the game against Brentford due to their illness. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will now have to try to find a way how he can set up his squad without his two main options of the centre forward position and many gooners believe that he could likely decide to use a false nine since he did something in the past even when those two were available.
Another option that Mikel Arteta could explore in this situation could be using Gabriel Martinelli in the centre forward role since he is good in that position even if he prefers playing on the flank.
