PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE MANCHESTER CITY

EARLY PREDICTED LINEUP TO FACE MANCHESTER CITY
TEXT FORMAT: Leno, Tierney, Mari, Holding, Chambers, Xhaka, Elneny, Saka, Odegaard, Pepe, Aubameyang
FORMATION: 4-2-3-1
GOALKEEPING:
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is still Mikel Arteta’s first choice goalkeeper even though Aaron Ramsdale got a clean sheet on his debut on Wednesday. The German shot stopper will still be in between the goal posts on Saturday.
DEFENCE:
Ben White is yet to recover from COVID-19 as per Mikel Arteta and so the gunners are likely to use the centre back partnership of Pablo Mari and Rob Holding. Kieran Tierney would also start in the left back position while Chambers starts as a right back as he has done in some matches this season.
CENTRAL MIDFIELD:
Sambi Lokonga has started in the first two Premier League games but he could be replaced by Mohamed Elneny who didn’t put a foot wrong in the game against West Brom. And so Arsenal’s midfield duo would be Xhaka and Elneny.
ATTACKING MIDFIELD:
Martin Odegaard is likely to get the nod over Emile Smith Rowe as he was incredible in their previous game and so he will start on Saturday while getting supported by Nicolas Pepe and Saka on the wings.
STRIKING:
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang removed all doubt on his ability by scoring a hatrick in the previous Arsenal game and so he will start as the centre forward in the game against Manchester City.
