Arsenal handed triple injury concern ahead of Norwich clash
Arsenal have been handed injury worries ahead of Saturday’s match against Norwich.
Arsenal will be without Mohamed Elneny for two to three weeks, the midfielder has picked up a hamstring strain.
Albert Sambi Lokonga and Emile Smith Rowe are doubts for the Norwich clash. Lokonga was not included in either of Belgium’s matches against Czech Republic and Belarus after he made his senior debut against Estonia and it has been revealed that the midfielder has been struggling for fitness.
Regarding Smith Rowe, he withdrew from England’s Under-21 team after feeling unwell. It remains unknown whether the two midfielders will be available for Saturday’s match against Norwich.
The uncertainty regarding the fitness of Sambi Lokonga and Smith Rowe is a blow to Mikel Arteta’s plans as he now has limited options in midfield. Granit Xhaka is suspended and also happened to test positive for Covid-19.
However, the Gunners will be boosted by the return of Thomas Partey in the midfield as well as defenders Gabriel and Ben White.
