Arsenal lineup to face Southampton released as Arteta aims for win
Arsenal will today hope to end the day with three points in the bag when they face Southampton at the Emirates Stadium and their lineup has been released.

Arsenal have today welcomed Southampton to the Emirates Stadium and this will be a must win game for Mikel Arteta as he has received immense criticism after their disappointing defeat to Everton on Monday last week. Arsenal have released their lineup that will face Southampton today and the fans will hope that they secure the three points today.
ARSENAL STARTING ELEVEN TO FACE SOUTHAMPTON
Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Xhaka, Partey, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Lacazette.
SUBSTITUTES:
Okonkwo, Holding, Cedric, Tavares, Lokonga, Maitland-Niles, Smith Rowe, Pepe, Nketiah
As earlier reported by various outlets, Arsenal’s captain and striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not be involved in today’s game and Mikel Arteta will hope that his absence doesn’t affect them as he is a star player that could have been a plan B in case their first eleven fails to defeat the Saints.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has used the same starting eleven that he used in their defeat to Everton a week ago and this shows how the Spanish boss doesn’t believe his set up was the problem that caused their loss to The Toffees.
It will be interesting to see how this game goes but what’s for sure is that Mikel Arteta will be in huge trouble if they fail to win today.
