Arsenal receive bad news ahead of their match against Southampton
Arsenal will today face Southampton at the Emirates Stadium and they have now received bad news ahead of the game.

Arsenal will in a few hours from now face Southampton at the Emirates Stadium and they will come into this game with the aim of getting three points since their recent loss against Everton reduced on their chances of getting European football. Arsenal will want nothing but the three points from the game against The Saints but the gooners have however received bad news ahead of this game.
Arsenal striker and captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has in the past few days faced a lot of criticism from both fans and football pundits for his failure to get goals in this year’s Premier League campaign. Despite that, Aubameyang is still a valuable player of Mikel Arteta as he is usually built for teams like Southampton as he can use his speed to get in good areas to get goals for his club.
The gunners have however received bad news ahead of the game as its reported by Goal.com that their captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not take part in the game against Southampton because he is unwell. It’s believed that he did not take part in the last trainings before matchday and so it’s not clear when he will be back to full match fitness.
It will be interesting to see how Mikel Arteta sets up without Aubameyang since the captain has been starting many games even though he has at times been very off form.
