Arsenal set to miss out on another transfer target after Newcastle approach
Arsenal’s long term target Bruno Guimaraes is closing in on a move to Newcastle.
The January transfer window has been frustrating for Arsenal fans, with no new signings coming in and a few days left.
Arsenal’s long-term pursuit of Dusan Vlahovic ended in vain and the Fiorentina striker is set to join Juventus in a €75m move after showing no interest in a move to North London.
The Gunners are now at risk of losing their long-term target Bruno Guimaraes after Lyon accepted a €40m bid from Newcastle.
Arsenal have been long-term admirers of Guimaraes since his time at Athletico Paranaense in Brazil. The 24-year-old was seen as a possible midfield reinforcement.
