Arsenal will be hoping to stretch their winning run to five games when they take on Leicester at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta’s side have a busy week ahead with three games in the space of six days including a midweek encounter with Liverpool.

The Gunners will have to beat Leicester to get off on the right foot and retain their place among the top-four.

Last time out Arsenal beat Watford 3-2 and will have to replicate that performance while being more disciplined defensively against a stronger Leicester side.

Team news

Arsenal will be boosted by the return of Emile Smith Rowe. Smith Rowe leads the goals chart for Arsenal and missed out on the previous two games due to COVID.

Regarding Takehiro Tomiyasu, Arteta will not rush him back into the starting team after he had two injuries to his calves.

Predicted starting lineup

Ramsdale; Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Lacazette

Key stats

Arsenal are looking to complete the league double over Leicester for the first time since 2015-16, following their 2-0 victory at the King Power Stadium earlier this season.

Arsenal have taken 25 points from their last 30 available to them in the Premier League (W8 D1 L1). No side has earned more points over their last 10 Premier League games than the Gunners (level with Manchester City).

Bukayo Saka has scored six goals and assisted three more in his last 10 Premier League appearances.
