Arsenal lineup to face Tottenham released and Arteta has made some surprises
Arsenal will tonight face Tottenham Hotspur in this year’s last North London Derby and the gunners have released their starting eleven with Mikel Arteta making some surprises.
Arsenal have tonight been welcomed to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium by Spurs for what looks like is going to be a very intense North London Derby that could be able to determine the future of both clubs for the foreseeable future. Arsenal have come with one mission and that is to get all the three points and get qualification into the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal’s starting eleven has been released and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has made some surprising decisions as seen below.
ARSENAL STARTING ELEVEN TO FACE TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
Ramsdale, Cedric, Gavriel, Holding, Tomiyasu, Xhaka, Elneny, Martinelli, Odegaard, Saka, Nketiah
SUBSTITUTES:
Leno, Tavares, Swason, White, Lokonga, Patino, Smith Rowe, Pepe, Lacazette
Arsenal started off the season with an objective of getting back into the UEFA Champions League since they haven’t been in the prestigious European competition since 2016 and they currently seem almost done but they will however need to steal the three points from Tottenham Hotspur tonight to confirm their definitive qualification. A win over Tottenham Hotspur tonight won’t just be about winning a game against your arch rivals in Derby but it will also be extra satisfying for the gunners as a defeat of Spurs would also end their chances of Champions League football.
The team Mikel Arteta has chosen for today will inspire confidence in the Arsenal supporters since its been what has brought them three points over the last few weeks and so they will hope it performs in this important North London Derby.
