Arsenal have had a rollercoaster of a season as they have had a lot of good times as well as bad times but they have however luckily found themselves in such a good position on the Premier League table as they are in fourth place with just four games to go. Although Arsenal is still in a race for a UEFA Champions League spot, they have however still achieved one of their season objectives.
Arsenal were last season embarrassed to find out that they would not participate in a European competition for the first time in decades and this brought a lot of uproar in the fanbase which demanded for the club to make going back into Europe as they main aim for the 2021/22 season. And 34 game weeks later; Arsenal have achieved one of the main objectives of the season by qualifying for the UEFA Europa League irrespective of what happens in their next fixtures.
Arsenal would at least still be going to Europe via the UEFA Europa League even if they lost all their remaining Premier League matches and this will be a big plus for the management team as any type of European football brings in extra revenue for the club. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will however be hoping to improve on that and get UEFA Champions League as the fans have been crying for it since the last Wenger days at the club.
Arsenal’s win over West Ham United put them in pole position to get UEFA Champions League football because the pressure is now on Tottenham Hotspur to perform against Liverpool which statistically is probably gonna end in a win for The Reds.
