Journalist confirms Arsenal interest in Premier League midfielder
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Arsenal are interested in signing Youri Tielemans in the transfer market.

Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans is a top target for Arsenal as they look to strengthen the midfield position.
The Gunners are keen to take advantage of Tielemans contract running down by striking a bargain for the 25-year-old.
Romano also states that Tielemans will surely leave Leicester and with his contract expiring next summer, he will be available for around £25m.
Arsenal are still interested in Youri Tielemans, plans have not changed. He’s a target for the midfield – but it’s not an imminent deal as negotiations will take some time. 🇧🇪 #AFC
Two other clubs are also in the race for Tielemans, he’s gonna leave Leicester this summer.

However, there are other clubs in the race for the Belgian and Arsenal missing out on Champions League qualification may be a deterrent when it comes to negotiations.
Tielemans has been one of Leicester’s most important players since his £40m arrival from Monaco in 2019. He is one the best deep-lying playmakers in the league and has scored 12 goals across the last two Premier League seasons.
His Premier League experience would strengthen Arsenal’s midfield and he would likely slot into the starting eleven and partner Thomas Partey in central midfield.
