Predicted Arsenal lineup to face Everton with all eyes on Saka and Martinelli
The Premier League will end this season and Arsenal will be welcoming Everton to the Emirates Stadium and so we take a look at the predicted lineup of the gunners with all eyes on Saka and Martinelli.
Arsenal will this Sunday have one last chance to try to get UEFA Champions League as they will hope that they can beat Everton while hoping that Norwich City defeat Tottenham Hotspur. Arsenal will of course know the chance of this happening is slow but Mathematics shows they can still make it and Arteta has said they will back Norwich City on Sunday.
And so we today take a look at Arsenal’s predicted lineup to face Everton with all eyes on Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli who have been their best players in the past few weeks.
PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE EVERTON ON SUNDAY
Ramsdale, Tavares, Gabriel, White, Tomiyasu, Xhaka, Partey, Martinelli, Odegaard, Saka, Lacazette
FORMATION: 4-2-3-1
GOALKEEPING:
Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale will play in this game as the gunners won’t be too sentimental in giving it to Leno as Champions League is still at stake.
DEFENCE:
Arsenal’s main backline except Kieran Tierney was available in the match against Newcastle United and none got injured so Mikel Arteta will likely field the same people in this game against Everton.
CENTRAL MIDFIELD:
Thomas Partey has trained with team in the past few days and so he should be in the squad that faces Everton. So we should go back to the classic midfield duo of Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey this Sunday.
ATTACKING MIDFIELD:
All eyes will be on Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli because they have been the king makers of the gunners in the past few weeks and everyone will hope that they impress again in this final game against Everton. Martin Odegaard will get a chance to redeem himself after his disaster performance against Newcastle United.
STRIKING:
Alexandre Lacazette will probably play against Everton in his last match in an Arsenal shirt and the fans will hope he goes with a bang.
