Arsenal will be looking to strengthen their side in this summer transfer window because they failed to get UEFA Champions League last season due to not having a very good squad. And so the Arsenal supporters will hope that the club signs some good number of players in this transfer window since it avoided bringing in any new players in January which brought a lot of criticism to the hierarchy of the club.

Arsenal will be looking to improve their squad in a number of areas and there has been some reports in recent days that the gunners and their arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Leeds United winger Raphinha who was outstanding in the Premier League last season.

The gunners struggled for goals last season in some certain times of the 2021/22 campaign and Arsenal are considering that in the summer transfer market as they are searching for players that will be able to add goals to their squad. Raphinha would fit the bill nicely as he scored eleven Premier League goals last season while at Leeds United.

Sports journalist Toni Juanmarti has revealed that Arsenal are ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in the pursuit of Leeds United’s Raphinha as they are showing more intensity in trying to bring the Brazilian international to the Emirates Stadium. It will be interesting to see what happens if Raphinha is brought to the Emirates Stadium as he is a right winger and Bukayo Saka seems to have been good in that position last season though this would mean that they will be rotating to avoid either of them getting fatigued.
