Arsenal will of course like all clubs in the Premier League try to sign new players to replenish their squad but they will however have to also try to trim their squad by selling players that won’t be needed for next season.  Many Arsenal players have been linked with an exit already and we take a look at two players that Mikel Arteta will willingly let go in this month as per reports.

1.  BERND LENO

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has lost his starting spot to Aaron Ramsdale who joined the gunners last season and the German international won’t be wasting his last prime years at the Emirates Stadium if he is the second choice goalkeeper.   Bernd Leno is among the players that Arsenal will likely sell this month as a report by The Standard claims that newly promoted side Fulham are interested in the German goalkeeper.

The report confirms that Bernd Leno has already held talks with Arsenal’s technical director Edu Gaspar and that they all agreed that it was best if he was sold this summer hence this won’t be a deal that takes long to be completed as The Cottages will afford him now that they are in the Premier League.

2.   LUCAS TORREIRA

Lucas Torreira was loaned to Fiorentina on a loan deal with an option to buy of €15million last season but he has however returned to the Emirates Stadium since the Italian club didn’t activate it even though they really do want to sign him permanently. They have however begun separate talks from the loan of last season with Arsenal over the future of Torreira and a report by Fiorentina.it claims that Fiorentina have submitted a €7million bid but that the gunners were so insulted by it that they didn’t respond to it.

Though this obviously isn’t the end of this deal as Arsenal have obviously made it clear that Fiorentina  need to submit a good offer to get Lucas Torreira. Fiorentina was heavily improved by Lucas Torreira last season and so they will definitely pump out the money for him, and the deal could even be finished
