Arsenal fans receive good news in their club’s pursuit of Youri Tielemans
Arsenal fans have received good news on their club’s pursuit of highly rated Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.
Arsenal have so far completed the signing of three players, Marquinhos from Sau Paulo, Fabio Vieira from FC Porto and Matt Turner from New England Revolution but they are however not yet done with the summer transfer window as their club still has some holes that need filling. Arsenal have been reportedly linked with Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans and the fans have received some good news on those rumours.
Arsenal has been in the summer transfer market for a new midfielder since midfield is one of the areas that Mikel Arteta will want to improve this year as they last season struggled each time that Granit Xhaka or Thomas Partey got injured, which isn’t sustainable in the current Premier League as you need to be at your best throughout the whole campaign to be in the top places. Arsenal seemed to have identified Youri Tielemans as the perfect candidate but there has been a lot of silence about this until now.
Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has now revealed some good news for Arsenal fans as he has confirmed that Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans would be happy to join the gunners this summer and that he is still in contact with their technical director Edu Gaspar. Ben Jacobs however also confirmed that the gunners were however yet to make any offers to Leicester City but them still being in contact with the Belgian international should show that the gunners have not given up on him.
