Arsenal’s best starting eleven revealed after the arrival of Gabriel Jesus
Arsenal completed the signing of Gabriel Jesus a few days ago and we take a look at their best current starting eleven.
Arsenal has so far completed the signing of four players in this summer transfer window and it seems like they are not yet done as they still have other targets that they wish to complete. Gabriel Jesus is Arsenal’s latest signing and so we are going to take a look at Mikel Arteta’s strongest starting eleven after the arrival of the Brazilian striker.
ARSENAL’S STRONGEST ELEVEN AFTER GABRIEL JESUS’ ARRIVAL
Ramsdale, Tierney, Gabriel, White, Tomiyasu, Partey, Vieira, Martinelli, Odegaard, Saka, Jesus
GOALKEEPING:
Aaron Ramsdale was Arsenal’s first choice goalkeeper and he will probably retain that position despite the arrival of Matt Turner.
DEFENCE:
Arsenal are yet to sign any new defender in this summer transfer window and so the gunners will probably still have Tomiyasu plus Tierney as their fullbacks while Gabriel Magalhaes & Ben White play as centre backs.
CENTRAL MIDFIELD:
Fabio Vieira was an interesting signing by Arsenal as he is one very good technical attack minded midfielder that can play as either a no.10 or no.8. Arteta will likely use him as a no.8 and partner him with Thomas Partey in the central midfield.
ATTACKING MIDFIELD:
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are still Arsenal’s best wingers hence they will probably be used frequently next season, and Martin Odegaard will likely start in the central attacking midfield position over Emile Smith Rowe.
STRIKING:
Gabriel Jesus is a very huge signing for the gunners because they lost both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the same year, and so the Brazilian international will walk right through to the starting eleven.
