Arsenal have been outstanding on the pitch this season as they are now first on the Premier League table with only just one loss. The back room staff of Arsenal isn’t a sleep as well as they have started trying to tie down some of their star players on new long term contracts to keep away all potential clubs that would love to take them in the January transfer window.

Arsenal young winger Bukayo Saka has over the last year showed that he is one of the most important players at the Emirates Stadium as he was instrumental in getting them UEFA Europa League football and also gave the hierarchy of the club the confidence to let go of Nicolas Pepe hence easing the wage budget burden. Arsenal are currently interested in extending Bukayo Saka’s contract and it looks like they might have received some good news.

A report by Football Insider has confirmed that Arsenal have reached an agreement in principle of a contract renewal of Bukayo Saka that would see him start earning £200,000 a week wages to keep him at the Emirates Stadium. The report confirms that Bukayo Saka’s new contract will see him extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium by five years and the club would hope that this deal would keep potential suitors away from the 21 year old.

Bukayo Saka has only scored one Premier League goal this season but he is still been important as he has already provided four assists and the fans will be hopeful that he keeps up his form.

I enjoy football so much and I am in love with Arsenal Football Club. I always watch the matches and will always give you my opinions about the game here.
