Early predicted Arsenal lineup to face FC Zurich with all eyes on Nketiah
Arsenal will on Thursday welcome FC Zurich to the Emirates Stadium for the final UEFA Europa League group stage match and here’s the predicted lineup.
The UEFA Europa League will return on Thursday and Arsenal will welcome FC Zurich at the Emirates Stadium, and this will be an important match for the gunners after their defeat to PSV last week. Arsenal will want to win on Thursday to make sure that they remain first on their group stage table and so here is the predicted lineup of the gunners with eyes on Eddie Nketiah.
PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE FC ZURICH
Ramsdale, Tierney, Gabriel, Holding, Tomiyasu, Xhaka, Lokonga, Martinelli, Odegaard, Nelson, Nketiah
FORMATION: 4-2-3-1
GOALKEEPING:
Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Turner was not available for the last two matches and he might still not be in contention so Aaron Ramsdale will likely be in goal on Thursday.
DEFENCE:
William Saliba will likely not be involved but Gabriel and Holding will play as centre backs against Zurich while Kieran Tierney, and Tomiyasu get deployed as the fullbacks of the day.
CENTRAL MIDFIELD:
Granit Xhaka and Sambi Lokonga will be paired together in the UEFA Europa League and Arteta will hope they hold the midfield well on Thursday.
ATTACKING MIDFIELD:
Gabriel Martinelli and Reiss Nelson after his impressive performances will be deployed as wingers while Martin Odegaard will play as a central attacking midfielder.
STRIKING:
Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has had a lot of chances in the UEFA Europa League and so he will definitely start once again.
