Gabriel Martinelli makes a statement on Arsenal’s new signing Leandro Trossard
Arsenal completed the signing of Leandro Trossard a few days ago and gunners young winger Gabriel Martinelli has commented on the arrival of the Belgian international.
The Arsenal team, and more specifically its young winger Gabriel Martinelli, has been positively speaking out after the arrival of new club signing, 28 year old Leandro Trossard. Martinelli spoke glowingly of Trossard’s ability, saying “He’ll be a very important player for us. We know his quality.” This is apparently good news to Gunners fans as it suggests a certain level of respect between teammates – something that is always needed in a work environment for positive squad harmony.
Martinelli also noted how well Trossard had done during his time with Brighton & Hove Albion, leading up to his move to Arsenal:
“He did very well at Brighton and will certainly help a lot. And we are trying to welcome him in the best possible way so that he can be calm and show his football.” said Gabriel Martinelli as per ESPN Brasil.
With those words from Gabriel ringing through the ears of both fans and players alike – there is hope that Trossard will fit in well and make an impact shortly after joining from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Trossard’s arrival itself has cause for celebration amongst Arsenal followers; acquired for around €27 million makes him a well thought signing as it was good business compared to the likes of Nicolas Pepe who failed to justify his hefty fee after he arrived at the Emirates Stadium a few years ago.
