Gabriel Martinelli makes incredible decision on his Arsenal future

Arsenal young forward Gabriel Martinelli who has been in talks with the club over the last few weeks has finally made a decision on his future.

Arsenal have agreed a new four and a half year contract with Gabriel Martinelli, the 21-year-old Brazilian attacker. The new deal will extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium until the summer of 2027, according to sources from The Athletic.

Martinelli joined Arsenal in 2019 from Ituano FC and has since become an important part of Mikel Arteta’s squad. He has made a lot of appearances for Arsenal this season in the Premier League and he has repaid the trust of Mikel Arteta by scoring 7 goals and providing 2 assists in the league.

The previous terms of Martinelli’s contract were due to expire in 2024, but Arsenal had an option to extend it by two years. Now, they have decided to offer him a fresh deal that will keep him at the club for another four and a half years.

The new contract is expected to be officially announced soon, with both parties having already agreed on the terms. This is great news for Arsenal fans as it means that they can look forward to seeing more of Martinelli’s exciting attacking play in the coming years.

Martinelli has been one of Arsenal’s most impressive players this season and his performances have been key in helping them reach first place in the Premier League table.
