Arsenal will this weekend face Everton at Goodison Park with the hope of getting all the three points to make sure that they don’t lose their advantage over Manchester City at the Premier League. All eyes will be on Mikel Arteta as fans will be curious to know whether he will add some of his new signings in the starting eleven, hence here is the predicted lineup.

PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE EVERTON

Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Nketiah

FORMATION: 4-2-3-1

To that end, Arteta is likely to field a side designed to both bolster Arsenal’s defensive prospects while also providing plenty of attacking firepower. The Gunners are expected to not make amy key changes to their squad despite the acquisition of three players in the January transfer window.

At the back, goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale looks set to keep his place between the sticks and is likely to be protected by a defence of Ben White at right-back, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes as center backs and Oleksandr Zinchenko on the left side. This unit will be expected to tighten up Arsenal’s defence as it has done over the last few months.

In midfield Granit Xhaka will be in a pivot with Thomas Partey in the middle, while Bukayo Saka – who is yet another player pivotal in Arteta’s strategy – should start out wide as he looks to bring his direct running style down one flank. Meanwhile, captain Odegaard will obviously play in his attacking midfield role while Gabriel Martinelli tears up the left flank.

Eddie Nketiah should spearhead Arsenal’s attack following the injury sustained by Gabriel Jesus last year while out on international duty for Brazil.

With exciting talent all over the pitch, Arsenal will certainly want this mix of youthful creativity and experienced stars firing from kick-off against Everton come Saturday to keep up their push for the title.
