Arsenal release official lineup to face Brentford as Arteta eyes win
The gunners have today welcomed Brentford to the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal have finally released their official lineup to take on The Bees as Arteta eyes win to get his side back on track.
Arsenal will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face Brentford this Saturday, as the Premier League leaders look to extend their five-point lead at the top of the table. The Gunners were dealt a blow last weekend when they suffered a 1-0 defeat at Everton, their first league loss since September when they were beaten 3-1 at Manchester United. The starting eleven that the gunners will use today has been released.
ARSENAL STARTING ELEVEN TO FACE BRENTFORD
Brentford: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka, Ødegaard; Saka, Martinelli, Nketiah
SUBSTITUTES:
Turner, Tomiyasu, Tierney, Holding, Kiwior, Jorginho, Vieira, Trossard, Cozier-Duberry
Mikel Arteta’s side will be confident of getting back to winning ways against Brentford, who are currently seventh in the Premier League table. The Bees have been impressive this season in matches against the big six but the gunners will hope that they get the three valuable points to keep up their Premier League title chase
The Gunners will be without striker Gabriel Jesus for this game as he is still on the sidelines after having picked up an injury in December. Others like Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson are also still in recovery but are reported to be close to returning to the Arsenal side.
This should be an entertaining game between two sides who like to play attacking football and Arsenal will be hoping they can get back on track with a win over Brentford this Saturday.
