Early predicted Arsenal lineup to face Everton
Arsenal will this weekend face Everton away from home and we take a look at the predicted lineup that Mikel Arteta will likely use in this game.
Arsenal will travel to Goodison Park this Saturday to face Everton in the Premier League. Manager Mikel Arteta is likely to use a 4-3-3 formation, with new January signing Leandro Trossard potentially getting his first Premier League start.
EARLY PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE EVERTON
Ramsdale, Zinchenko, Gabriel, Saliba, White, Xhaka, Partey, Odegaard, Trossard, Nketiah, Saka
FORMATION: 4-3-3
In goal, Aaron Ramadale is expected to start. The English goalkeeper has been in fine form this season and will be looking to keep a clean sheet against Everton. In defence, Arteta is likely to opt for a back four of Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel and Zinchenko. White and Zinchenko have been two of Arsenal’s most consistent performers this season and will be looking to keep the Toffees’ attack at bay.
In midfield, Thomas Partey should start in the holding role, with Granit Xhaka and captain Martin Odegaard playing ahead of him. Partey has been a key player for Arsenal this season and his presence in midfield will be vital if they are to get a result at Goodison Park. Xhaka and Odegaard are both creative players who can provide the link between defence and attack for the Gunners.
In attack, Leandro Trossard should start on the left wing, with Bukayo Saka on the right wing and Eddie Nketiah leading the line up front. Finally, January signing Leandro Trossard could get his first Premier League start on Saturday if he is selected by Arteta. The Belgian winger joined from Brighton & Hove Albion last month and could provide an extra attacking threat for Arsenal against Everton.
