Gabriel Magalhaes sends Arsenal fans a message after loss to Everton
Arsenal was on Saturday stunned by Everton who beat them one nil ending their great run of form and Gabriel Magalhaes has sent a message to the supporters.
After Arsenal’s disappointing one-nil loss to Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday, Gabriel Magalhaes sent a message of solidarity to the Gunners’ faithful. The Brazilian defender took to Twitter to express his appreciation for the fans’ support and to remind them that they are all in this together.
“We win together, we lose together!!! Full focus next Saturday… thanks gunners for the support,” wrote Gabriel Magalhaes on Twitter.
The 25-year-old centre-back has been a key figure in Arsenal’s defence since joining from Lille . He has been one of Arsenal’s best performing players this season as him in defence along his partners in the back line have helped the gunners to only have just two loses since the league campaign begun last year.
Gabriel’s message is a reminder that football is a team sport and that no single player can be held responsible for a defeat. It also serves as an encouragement to the fans, who have been generally been happy with their squad this season.
The Gunners are currently first on the table, five points ahead of second placed Manchester City with with a game in hand. The Arsenal supporters will hope that their team does better in their next league game so that they don’t lose their first position on the table as they wish to win the Premier League this season.
Gabriel’s message was well received by Arsenal fans on social media, with many praising him for his leadership and commitment to the cause. It is clear that he is already becoming an important figure at the club and his words will no doubt help lift morale ahead of their next game against Brentford.
Ultimately, it is up to Gabriel and his teammates to deliver results on the pitch but his show of solidarity with supporters will certainly not have gone unnoticed or unappreciated by those who follow Arsenal so closely.
