Leandro Trossard opens up about Arsenal’s match against Manchester City
Arsenal will on Wednesday face Manchester City at home and new signing Leandro Trossard has opened up about this upcoming match.

Leandro Trossard scored his first Arsenal goal on Saturday, helping the Gunners to a 1-1 home draw with Brentford. The draw means Mikel Arteta’s side face going into Wednesday’s highly-anticipated clash with Manchester City with the prospect of losing their place at the top of the Premier League. The Gunners have led the way since August but could lose their top spot if Manchester City wins on Wednesday since they are just three points ahead.
Trossard, who joined Arsenal from Brighton in the January transfer window, is confident that his side will be ready for the challenge. “Yeah of course it’s always nice if you don’t have a good result, or it could be a better result, if you have a draw or loss, it’s always nice to play straight away in a couple of days and that’s what’s going to happen, and I think we will be ready for it,” said Trossard as per Arsenal Media when asked about the Wednesday game.
The Belgian midfielder is determined to help Arsenal maintain their position at the top of the table and believes that they can do so by continuing to work hard and playing as a team. Trossard has already made an impact at Arsenal since joining from Brighton in January, scoring his first goal against Brentford on Saturday. With Manchester City coming up next on Wednesday, Trossard will be looking to continue his impressive form and help Arsenal secure all three points against one of their biggest rivals.
