Arsenal will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face Brentford at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. The Gunners have been in excellent form in the Premier League this season, and currently sit five points clear at the top of the table. However, their recent 1-0 defeat at Everton was a reminder that they cannot take anything for granted. So here is the predicted Arsenal lineup to face Brentford with all eyes on Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka as it nowadays looks like the gunners are always at their best when these two are on form.

PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE BRENTFORD

Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli

In goal, Aaron Ramsdale is set to start the game this Saturday as he is the first choice goalkeeper of Mikel Arteta. In front of him, Arteta is likely to use the same defence that ended Saturday’s match – Oleksandr Zinchenko at left-back, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes as centre-backs and Ben White on the right side of defence.

Ahead of them, Granit Xhaka should be given the nod to start while Thomas Partey lines up alongside him in central midfield, with Martin Odegaard just ahead playing in the number 10 role.

On either side of him will be two young prospects – Gabriel Martinelli coming in from the left and impressive Bukayo Saka doing his magic on the right wing. Up top Eddie Nketiah is likely to continue leading the line as his form continues to impress.

There are still questions over whether or not Arsenal can keep their impressive form going until May, but a victory over Brentford would go some way towards ensuring they stay ahead of City. With this predicted lineup, they should have more than enough to pick up all three points at home.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
