Trossard speaks out on his goal against Brentford and on their performance
Arsenal January signing Leandro Trossard scored his first goal as a gunner on Saturday and he has spoken out on his goal, and their overall experience.

Leandro Trossard scored his first Arsenal goal since he became a gunner in January in their match against Brentford but he was obviously disappointed to not get the three points.
Leandro Trossard has expressed his disappointment at not coming away with a win in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Brentford. The Belgian international scored his first Arsenal goal on Saturday, tapping home Bukayo Saka’s excellent cross at the back post. But even that wasn’t enough to give them all three points after Ivan Toney equalised for Brentford just eight minutes later.
Trossard spoke of his frustration following the game: “Yes, I saw B (Bukayo Saka) on the ball, I knew I had to make it at the back post. It was a perfect cross and luckily I scored it. It was perfect for us to get the lead, and a perfect moment I think. But like I said, it’s nice to score, but it’s nicer if you can get the win of course.” said as per Arsenal Media.
Reflecting on the overall performance from his side, he said: “I think overall we played well. In the first half they had some chances but in the second half we came more into the game, and obviously we scored that goal and then it’s a tough one to take when they scored the equaliser.”
Although losing points felt like a loss for all concerned after dominating much of proceedings however, Trossard refused to see things through too negative an outlook and credited their opponents’ ability as well as their own performance throughout.
