Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager, has provided an update on Leandro Trossard after the player got injured in Arsenal’s dramatic 3-2 win over Bournemouth. The match was full of twists and turns, with both teams fighting hard to secure a victory.
Trossard, who has been in fine form for Arsenal this past few games, had to come off in the first half after feeling something. Arteta confirmed that it looks like something muscular and the extent of the injury is yet to be determined.
“He felt something in his groin when he was tracking back in the first half. He had to come off. It looks like something muscular” said Mikel Arteta as per Wheatley.
The injury to Trossard is a blow for Arsenal as he has been one of their key players since joining them. However, Arteta will be pleased with the character shown by his team as they came from behind to secure a vital win.
The match started disastrously for Arsenal as they conceded a goal just 11 seconds into the game. Philip Billing scored the opener for Bournemouth after a defensive mix-up from Arsenal.
Bournemouth continued to dominate and doubled their lead in the 57th minute through Marcos Senesi’s powerful header from Joe Rothwell’s corner. However, Arsenal responded quickly and Thomas Partey pulled one back just five minutes later.
The home side continued to push forward and were rewarded in the 70th minute when Reiss Nelson crossed the ball to Ben White who scored to equalize. The Emirates Stadium erupted as Arsenal completed their comeback in stoppage time with an unbelievable goal from Nelson.

The win sees Arsenal maintain their position at the top of the league table and puts them in a strong position going into their next match. However, Arteta will be hoping that Trossard’s injury is not too serious and that he can return to action soon.
Overall, it was a thrilling match that showcased both teams’ fighting spirit and determination. While Bournemouth will be disappointed with the result, they can take heart from their performance against one of the league’s top teams. As for Arsenal, they will be looking to build on this victory and continue their impressive season.
