Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has expressed his disappointment and anger over the team’s recent performances in their last two matches. The Gunners drew 2-2 against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League on Thursday and defeated Bournemouth 3-2 in the Premier League last weekend.

Speaking to Arsenal Media, Arteta highlighted the team’s weakness in conceding set plays and goals. “We are conceding some set plays, we are conceding a lot in games. We conceded two goals against Bournemouth and against Sporting. If you want to be at the top, winning and winning and winning, you need clean sheets,” he said.

Arteta emphasized that clean sheets are crucial for a team that wants to win titles. Arsenal is currently leading the Premier League table with 63 points after 26 games, but they are closely followed by second-placed Manchester City with 61 points.

“We’ve been really good at preventing chances but not good enough in the last two weeks, and doing the right things in the box,” Arteta added.

The Spanish manager has been working hard to improve Arsenal’s defense since taking over from Unai Emery a few years ago. The Gunners have shown a great deal of improvement under his leadership, but there is still room for more improvement.

Arsenal will face Fulham on Sunday, and Arteta will be hoping that his players can put up a better defensive display.

In conclusion, Mikel Arteta’s comments show that he is aware of Arsenal’s weaknesses and is working hard to address them. The Gunners have shown good progress under his leadership, but there is still work to be done if they want to win the Premier League this season. Sunday’s match against Fulham will be an opportunity for them to bounce back from their recent chaotic matches and show that they are serious about wanting the Premier League trophy this season.
