Arteta reveals whether Trossard and Nketiah will return in game against Fulham
It is believed that Leandro Trossard and Eddie Nketiah will not be available in Arsenal’s UEFA Europa League game on Thursday, and Mikel Arteta has revealed whether these two will be available for the Fulham game.
Arsenal fans are eagerly waiting to know whether Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard will be fit for the upcoming game against Fulham on Sunday. The duo was ruled out for Thursday’s Sporting Lisbon match, and their absence will be felt.
Mikel Arteta has now revealed that he is hopeful that both players will be available for selection on Sunday. Speaking to Arsenal Media, Arteta said, “Let’s see how they evolve, obviously we have had a few issues in the last few days. We’re trying to accommodate everybody and get everybody in the best possible condition for tomorrow.”
Eddie Nketiah has been a revelation for Arsenal this season, stepping up after the injury of Gabriel Jesus. The young striker has scored four goals and provided one assist so far this season. His pace and movement have caused problems for opposition defenders, and he has quickly become a fan favorite at the Emirates Stadium.
Leandro Trossard joined Arsenal in the January transfer window, and while he hasn’t hit the ground running like Nketiah, he has still made an impact. The Belgian winger has scored one goal and provided two assists so far this season. He possesses excellent dribbling skills and can create chances out of nothing.
Arsenal is currently in a title race as they sit at the top of the Premier League table with 63 points after 26 games. However, they are closely followed by second-placed Manchester City, who have 58 points. With just twelve games remaining in the season, every point counts, and Arteta will be hoping that both Nketiah and Trossard can recover quickly.
Sunday’s game against Fulham will be another tough test for Arsenal as they look to maintain their lead at the top of the table. With Nketiah and Trossard potentially returning to action, Arteta will have more options at his disposal as he looks to guide his team to victory.
In conclusion, Arsenal fans will be eagerly waiting for updates on Nketiah and Trossard’s fitness ahead of Sunday’s game against Fulham. With just twelve games remaining in the season, every point counts as Arsenal looks to win their first Premier League title since 2004.
