Arteta reveals whether Arsenal’s squad still believes in winning the Premier League
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has opened up about the current belief of his squad and whether they believe they can win the Premier League title.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his belief that the Gunners still have a chance of winning the Premier League title this season. Despite being second on the table with 81 points after 35 games, Arsenal are closely following first-placed Manchester City, who have 82 points and one game in hand.
Ahead of their Sunday match against Brighton & Hove Albion, Arteta spoke to Arsenal.com about whether his players still believe they can challenge for the title. He said, “That’s what we’re here for. It starts on Sunday again, there’s three games to go, this is the crucial one and right now we want to beat them and elevate our hopes and enthusiasm to keep going because everything is still to play for.”

However, their opponents on Sunday will not be an easy challenge. Brighton & Hove Albion are currently eighth on the Premier League table with 55 points and are fighting for a European spot. The Seagulls have been in good form themselves this season.
If Arsenal do manage to win on Sunday and Manchester City slip up in their remaining fixtures, then there is a chance that the Gunners could lift their first Premier League trophy since 2004. However, even if they fall short in the title race, Arteta will be pleased with the progress his team has made this season.

Under his guidance, Arsenal have improved defensively and have become a more cohesive unit. They have also unearthed some exciting young talent such as Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, who have both been key players for the Gunners this season.
Overall, Arsenal fans will be hoping that Arteta’s optimism is well-founded and that their team can continue their impressive form in the final few games of the season. Whether they win the title or not, there is no doubt that the Gunners are heading in the right direction under their young manager.
