Positions that Arteta wants filled with new players in summer reportedly revealed
Arsenal will be looking to make new signings in the summer transfer window and a report has revealed that Mikel Arteta has chosen the positions that will receive new players.

Arsenal is gearing up for a costly summer recruitment drive to close the gap on Manchester City. The Gunners are currently second on the 2022/23 Premier League table with 78 points after 34 games, but they are closely following by first placed Manchester City, which has 79 points and one game in hand.
Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager, is reportedly keen on signing a new centre-back, possibly two central midfielders, and a versatile attacker to bolster his squad ahead of next season. According to a report by The Daily Mail, Arsenal is willing to spend big to bring in the right players.
The Gunners have already shown their ambition in the transfer market by signing Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City in last year’s summer transfer window. The Brazilian striker has been a key player for Arsenal since his arrival and has helped them climb to the top of the Premier League table.
However, Arteta knows that he needs more quality players if he wants to compete with Manchester City and other top teams in Europe. Arsenal has struggled with injuries in defence this seasos. Arteta wants to sign a new centre-back.
In midfield, Arteta is looking for players who can provide creativity and energy. Thomas Partey has been a solid addition to Arsenal’s midfield since his arrival some years ago, but Arteta wants more options in that area of the pitch. Arteta wants to sign a versatile attacker who can play across the front line and provide competition for Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah.
Arsenal’s owners, the Kroenke family, have been criticized in the past for their lack of investment in the club. However, they seem to be willing to back Arteta in the transfer market this summer. If Arsenal can sign the right players, they could be serious contenders for more major honours next season.
