Revealed: The eight players that Arteta will offload in the summer transfer window

The summer transfer window is fast approaching, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is already making plans to offload some players from his squad. The Gunners are currently in a title race, sitting second on the Premier League table with 81 points after 36 games. Another player who could be on his way out of Arsenal is Emile Smith Rowe. The young midfielder has shown glimpses of his potential last season, but Arteta may feel that he might not need him next season. Folarin Balogun is another youngster who could be offloaded by Arsenal this summer.

Defenders Rob Holding, Nuno Tavares and Cedric Soares are also reportedly on Arteta’s list of players to offload. Holding has struggled for game time this season, while midfielder Lokonga and Tavares have both been loaned.

One player who could be leaving Arsenal despite being a key part of their team is Kieran Tierney but he has got limited minutes due to arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko.Tierney is expected to move to Newcastle in the summer transfer window. The Scottish left-back has been one of Arsenal’s standout performers in past seasonsy, but it looks like he could be on his way out.

Overall, it seems like Arteta is looking to make some significant changes to his squad this summer. While Arsenal are currently in a title race, the Gunners boss is clearly thinking about the long-term future of his team.
