Arteta reveals how he got Arsenal back to winning again
Arsenal were very close to winning the Premier League title last season and Mikel Arteta has revealed how he got the gunners to winning again.

Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager, has opened up on how he recovered Arsenal’s winning spirit. According to Arteta, this process started three years ago when he was Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City. During a match against Arsenal, Arteta saw that the soul of the club had been lost. He said that it wasn’t enjoyed and it wasn’t felt.
Arteta knew that there was an option of being on the other bench shortly after and he knew that this club is so big that you have to connect the team to the fans. It has been hard to do, but now he feels happy.
“We have a clear identity, there is unity and we are full of energy,” said Arteta as per Marca. “That’s the biggest thing. From top to bottom, everyone pushes in the same direction. We give the fans something to dream about and be proud of and now, you have to earn more.”
Arsenal were in a fierce title race with Manchester City in a bid to win the 2022/23 Premier League title but a defeat against Nottingham Forest in their 37th game week saw them lose the trophy to The Citizens. Arsenal ended the season with 84 points while Manchester City finished with 89 points. Manchester City are this year’s Premier League Champions. The gunners will have to settle for second place even though they had led the league table for 10 months this season.
Despite not winning the title, Arteta believes that his team has made significant progress this season. He said that they have built a strong foundation for future success. Arteta also praised his players for their hard work and dedication throughout the season.
In conclusion, Arteta has done an excellent job in recovering Arsenal’s winning spirit. Although they didn’t win the title this season, they have made significant progress and have built a strong foundation for future success. With Arteta at the helm, Arsenal fans can look forward to a bright future.
