BREAKING: Arsenal almost complete signing of Kai Havertz as medical scheduled
Arsenal have almost completed the signing of Chelsea forward Kai Havertz in this summer transfer window and that a medical has been scheduled.

Arsenal is reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Chelsea to sign Kai Havertz for a fee in the region of £65m. Talks are ongoing to finalize the structure of the deal, including instalments and add-ons. Personal terms have already been agreed upon, and subject to the deal being done, a medical will be scheduled as per The Athletic.
Havertz had a decent season with Chelsea, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in the Premier League. However, his efforts were not enough to help Chelsea finish higher than 12th on the league table. The German international still had few years remaining on his contract with Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Arsenal was in a fierce title race with Manchester City in their bid to win the 2022/23 Premier League title. However, their hopes were dashed when they suffered a defeat against Nottingham Forest in their 37th game week. As a result, they lost the trophy to Manchester City who finished with 89 points while Arsenal ended up with 84 points.
Despite leading the league table for ten months this season, Arsenal had to settle for second place. This was undoubtedly disappointing for Arsenal fans who had high hopes for their team this season.
The potential signing of Havertz could be seen as a statement of intent from Arsenal as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season. Havertz is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young talents and would undoubtedly add quality and depth to Arsenal’s midfield.
If Arsenal manages to secure Havertz’s signature, it would be seen as a significant coup for them given that he was previously linked with some of Europe’s biggest clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Overall, it remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal can finalize a deal for Havertz. However, if they do manage to sign him, it could be just what they need to mount another serious challenge for the Premier League title next season.
