In an exciting development for Arsenal fans, The Sun has reported that the club is set to announce a quadruple boost in the coming week. The Gunners are expected to secure new contract extensions for William Saliba and Reiss Nelson, while also finalizing deals for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.

Firstly, Arsenal is keen to tie down 20-year-old defender William Saliba to a new four-year contract extension. Saliba impressed last season, starting 27 league games before suffering an unfortunate injury towards the end of the campaign. The young Frenchman has been hailed as one of Mikel Arteta’s best players and securing his long-term future at the club will undoubtedly be a significant boost.

Similarly, 23-year-old Reiss Nelson is on the verge of agreeing to similar terms. Although he has only made a few substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, Nelson managed to make a significant impact with three goals and two assists in limited game time. His potential and versatility make him an exciting prospect for Arsenal’s future plans.

In addition to securing their own players’ futures, Arsenal is also looking to strengthen their squad with two key signings. The Gunners have reportedly agreed on a £105 million fee with West Ham United for midfielder Declan Rice. Rice had an impressive season, scoring four goals and providing two assists while helping West Ham avoid relegation. He was also instrumental in their triumph in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Furthermore, Arsenal has reached an oral agreement with Ajax regarding Jurrien Timber’s transfer fee. The deal is said to be around €42 million fixed, with an additional €5 million in bonuses. Timber, who primarily plays as a center-back but can also operate as a right-back, would be a valuable addition to Arteta’s defensive options.

The potential quadruple boost comes at an opportune time for Arsenal as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season. With Saliba and Nelson committing their futures to the club, and the potential signings of Rice and Timber, the Gunners are showing their ambition to compete at the highest level.
