REVEALED: The time Jurrien Timber will stay on sidelines due to injury
Jurrien Timber has quickly become a fan favourite at Arsenal but he has however unfortunately got injured and it’s now been revealed how long he will be out.

Arsenal fans have been eagerly awaiting news on the extent of Jurrien Timber’s injury, and it seems they finally have an answer. The young defender is expected to miss most of his first season in the Premier League after picking up an injury in his debut match for the Gunners.
Timber, who joined Arsenal from Ajax in a high-profile deal this summer, suffered the injury during the team’s season-opening game against Nottingham Forest. He was substituted off at the start of the second half, leaving fans concerned about his condition.
Although Arsenal has not provided a specific timescale for Timber’s recovery, CBS Sports understands that he is likely to be sidelined for around seven months. This news comes as a blow to both the player and the club, as they had high hopes for Timber’s contribution to their defensive line this season.
At just 22 years old, Timber has already established himself as a promising talent in European football. His performances for Ajax caught the attention of several top clubs, including Arsenal, who were willing to pay €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons to secure his services.
The young defender was expected to make an immediate impact at Arsenal and help solidify their backline. However, this injury setback means that fans will have to wait longer than anticipated to see him in action on a regular basis.
Timber’s absence will undoubtedly be felt by Arsenal, who will now have to rely on their other defensive options until he returns. It also raises questions about the club’s depth in that position and whether they will need to bring in additional reinforcements during the January transfer window.

While it is disappointing news for both Timber and Arsenal fans alike, it is important for the player to focus on his recovery and come back stronger than ever. With time on his side, there is no doubt that he has a bright future ahead of him at Arsenal once he returns from this setback.
In the meantime, Arsenal fans will have to be patient and trust in the team’s ability to cope without Timber. The Premier League is a long and grueling season, and injuries are unfortunately a part of the game. It will be up to the remaining defenders to step up and fill the void left by Timber’s absence until he is ready to make his mark on the Premier League.
