Arteta speaks out on Bukayo Saka’s injury after 4-0 win over Bournemouth
Arsenal has today successfully beaten Bournemouth 4-0 but there were fears among gooners that Bukayo Saka has gotten injured and Arteta has spoken out about this.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the state of Bukayo Saka, who was seen limping after the team’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Arteta stated that he hasn’t had the chance to speak to Saka yet and is unsure about the extent of his injury.
“I don’t know yet. I haven’t had the chance to speak to him.” Arteta told Football.London.
The win against Bournemouth marked Arsenal’s fifth Premier League victory of the season. The opening goal was orchestrated by Martin Odegaard, who delivered a fantastic cross from the left, finding Gabriel Jesus. Jesus’ header hit the post, and Saka was quick to react, heading in the rebound from close range. The Gunners’ second goal came from a penalty, with Eddie Nketiah being fouled in the box by Max Aarons. Odegaard stepped up and calmly converted the spot-kick into the bottom corner. Shortly after the restart, Arsenal added a third goal through Kai Havertz, who scored his first goal for the club after Christie’s late tackle on Odegaard in the box. Despite creating several chances, Arsenal failed to convert them until Ben White scored the fourth goal, flicking his header into the net from Odegaard’s free-kick.
Currently sitting in second place on the Premier League table with 17 points, Arsenal have had a strong start to their 2023/24 campaign. Their next match will be against Lens in the UEFA Champions League at Stade Bollaert-Delelis Stadium on Tuesday.
While the victory against Bournemouth was impressive, Arsenal will be hoping for positive news regarding Saka’s injury. Saka has been an important player for the team this season and his absence would be a blow to their attacking prowess. Arteta and his coaching staff will be closely monitoring Saka’s condition and making decisions accordingly.
Overall, Arsenal’s win against Bournemouth further solidifies their position near the top of the Premier League table. However, the potential absence of Saka could pose a challenge for Arteta and his team as they prepare for their upcoming matches in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
