Kai Havertz fires back at Arsenal fans that are hating on him
Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz has received massive criticism from fans over his performances and he has now fired back.
Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz has spoken out after receiving criticism from Arsenal fans over his poor start to life as a Gunner. The 24-year-old German international joined Arsenal in the summer transfer window, completing a £65 million move from Chelsea.
Havertz has acknowledged the criticism he has received and understands that the media will focus on the negatives, especially after just four matchdays. However, he remains calm and relaxed about his performances, recognizing that it can take time to settle into a new club.
“I think so far in my career I had phases here & there where things were a little bumpy & of course I know that you [media] after four matchdays will just point out the negatives & a lot of bad stuff will be written,” Havertz said.
“It’s not the first time I’ve come to a new club, and so I know that it can take a bit longer, and so I am relaxed about it. It’s only my second month there, so that’s why I’m relatively relaxed.”
Havertz’s performance in Arsenal’s recent 3-1 win over Manchester United drew criticism from fans as he missed several chances. However, the team’s victory propelled them to fifth position on the Premier League table with 10 points after four games.
Despite the pressure and scrutiny, Havertz remains focused on improving his performances and contributing to the team’s success. He is determined to prove himself and show his true abilities as an Arsenal player.
With the international break now underway, Havertz will have some time to reflect and work on his game. He will have the opportunity to train with his national team and gain valuable experience that can help him settle into Arsenal’s style of play.
As Arsenal fans continue to voice their opinions and expectations, it is important to remember that Havertz is still adapting to a new environment. It takes time for players to adjust to new teammates, tactics, and the overall demands of a different club.
Havertz’s willingness to acknowledge the criticism and remain calm under pressure is a positive sign. With time and support from his teammates and fans, he has the potential to become a key player for Arsenal and prove his worth in the Premier League.
