Wenger reveals two factors that will make Arsenal fail in race for Premier League title

“I believe as well that City having lost De Bruyne for a long period and Gundogan, who was a very important player, even if they are a top team I don’t disagree with that, but maybe they can take advantage of it. But we have to deal with the Champions League, so that costs points as well.” said Wenger.

Furthermore, Wenger pointed out that injuries and departure of key players at Manchester City, such as Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan, could provide an opportunity for Arsenal to gain an advantage. While he acknowledged City’s status as a top team, Wenger believes that their absence may create an opening for Arsenal to close the gap and challenge for the title.

However, Wenger also highlighted the potential impact of Arsenal’s participation in the Champions League. He noted that competing in Europe’s elite club competition can be demanding and may result in dropped points in the Premier League.
